Annie Kennedy joined the Wisconsin Athletics Development team and the Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association as the Assistant Director of Development for Major Gifts in March 2024. In this position, she secures major gifts for the athletic department, including facility gifts, planned gifts, scholarship endowments, and premium seating.
Prior to Wisconsin, Kennedy was the Assistant Director for Annual Giving at Columbia University, working at the Fu Foundation School of Engineering. In this role, she built relationships with donors to raise money primarily for the engineering annual fund and also explore planned giving opportunities. Kennedy previously served as the Development Coordinator for Major Gifts, where she helped manage the Columbia Engineering Board of Visitors — the school's advisory board, composed of top major gift donors.
Kennedy holds a Master's Degree in Sports Management from Columbia University ('24) and a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of Maine ('18). She was a softball pitcher at Maine, winning an America East Championship in 2016, and was named Second Team All-Conference her senior season.
