Our Mission

Our mission at Wisconsin Athletics is to elevate the lives of our student-athletes. When you become part of the Forever Badgers program, you will have a powerful impact now and in perpetuity, as your fund will be invested to continually support generations of future Badgers. With our commitment to student-athlete education, endowed scholarships are more important today than ever before.

How it Works

Gifts will be invested to produce a stream of income that can be distributed each year. Up to 4.5% of earned interest will be applied to the cost of scholarship. As an example, a gift of $100,000 will generate around $4,500 annually to assist the Athletic Department in providing a partial scholarship for a student-athlete.

Giving Benchmarks

We are pleased to offer a wide range of giving benchmarks. Gifts can be pledged over 5 years and are 100% tax deductible.

  • $50,000 to establish a partial scholarship (or $10,000 / year)
  • $125,000 to endow 1/8 scholarship (or $25,000 / year)
  • $250,000 to endow 1/4 scholarship (or $50,000 / year)
  • $500,000 to endow half of a scholarship (or $100,000 / year)
  • $1,000,000 to fully endow a scholarship ($200,000 / year)
