A Message from
the Director of Athletics

Greetings from Wisconsin Athletics,

Thank you for your continued support, generosity, and loyalty to UW Athletics. Your annual contributions and charitable gifts directly elevate the lives of our student-athletes, and we are truly grateful to have you as part of the Badger family.

College athletics is undergoing unprecedented change. Revenue sharing, NIL, and transfer portal movement are now permanent features of our landscape. Even in this shifting environment, we are working deliberately to position Wisconsin Athletics for long-term success and stability.

Through it all, our mission remains rooted in education, broad‑based opportunity, and competitive excellence. This past year, that commitment was reflected in exceptional academic performance. For the second straight year, we achieved a 94 percent Graduation Success Rate — our eighth consecutive year at 90 percent or higher — ranking third in the Big Ten and 18th among Power 4 programs. Our mission was equally evident in the competitive success across all 23 Badger varsity sports, highlighted by National Championships in Track & Field and Women’s Hockey in 2025 and recently placing eighth in the Learfield Directors’ Cup after another strong fall season.

At the heart of everything we do is the goal of helping student-athletes thrive academically, athletically, and in their communities. Your support makes that possible. The progress we celebrate today — and the opportunities we will create tomorrow — are a direct result of your generosity.

Thank you for standing with us.

On, Wisconsin!
