Joe D'Amato is the Donor Experience Program Manager for Wisconsin Athletics and the Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association (WFAA), playing a key role in fostering strong relationships between donors, WFAA, Wisconsin Athletics and UW–Madison. In this role Joe aims to enhance engagement through personalized experiences and strategic outreach to impactful donors. His contributions greatly support the long-term success of fundraising and alumni relations at UW.
In his previous role within WFAA, Joe led various impactful stewardship initiatives, including planning and executing the Badger Huddle pregame tailgate parties—signature events that bring together alumni, donors, and fans to celebrate Badger pride across the country. He also played a significant part in organizing football bowl tours, ensuring memorable experiences for supporters traveling to cheer on the Badgers at postseason games. Joe started his career at the UW School of Veterinary Medicine before joining WFAA in 2017.
A proud 2015 UW–Madison graduate, Joe was an active member of the UW Marching Band, and he continues to share his musical talents by performing with the Green Bay Packers’ Tundra Line and sitting on the UW Band Alumni Association Board. Outside of work, he coaches volleyball at McFarland High School and enjoys biking, traveling, and spending time on Madison's lakes.
