Annual Donor Process
Over 13,530 households help fund Wisconsin Athletics’ operating expenses to ensure Badger student-athletes are able to compete at the highest level. Your support provides critical resources such as, scholarships, academic and career support, performance nutrition, sports medicine, mental health and sport psychology, and personal development opportunities to over 800 student-athletes across 23 varsity sports.
Distribution of annual donor benefits are based upon Donor Rank.
Donor Rank
The Donor Rank system is used to assign all benefits, except for Badger Select. Donor benefits include, but are not limited to:
- Single game (home and away) ticket on-sales
- Post-season ticket requests and allocations

Your Donor Rank will first be calculated after the first giving deadline, March 13, and then again after other deadlines throughout the year.
Donor Rank Factors
Donor Rank balances the importance of contributions this year with your Wisconsin Athletics giving history and season ticket loyalty. Your donor rank is determined first based upon your total contributions to Athletics this year (Annual Giving Levels Chart). Then within your annual giving level, accounts are ranked based upon their priority point total (Donor Priority Point Factors Chart).

Annual Giving Level Plus
Launched in 2023, Annual Giving Level Plus (AGL+) rewards those generous supporters who have committed to, and are contributing towards, a major gift pledge in support of Wisconsin Athletics. Achieving “+” status unlocks additional stewardship opportunities along with greatly enhancing priority within Badger Select for season tickets and season parking.
How to Qualify for AGL+
Sign up for a multi-year major gift pledge commitment (minimum $25,000 total) and complete the first installment towards this pledge to activate your + status.
