Zach Epstein was promoted in August 2023 to serve as the Assistant Director of Development – Premium Seating with Wisconsin Athletics. In his current role, Epstein will focus on the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors and premium seat season ticket holders as well as assist with major gift initiatives and internal operations.
He joined the University of Wisconsin Athletics in June 2019 as a Ticket Sales Representative where he focused on the sale of new season tickets, group tickets, and mini plan packages as well as supporting the annual fund. Following a promotion to Account Executive for Premium Seating in June 2021, Epstein joined the team responsible for the sale of new premium seat inventory located in the new South End Zone at Camp Randall, a $77 million renovation project completed in 2022. With his help, the South End Zone has sold out of season tickets for both of the first two seasons.
Prior to Wisconsin, Epstein was a Sales and Business Development intern with the Green Bay Packers. With the Packers, his responsibilities focused on the planning and execution of game day activations, contractual game day sponsorship elements, partnership management, data analysis, and partner hospitality at special events. Previously, he also has served as an intern with Badger Sports Properties, the Learfield affiliate on campus at UW, and as a summer marketing intern at the Big Ten Network in Chicago.
A Sun Prairie, Wisconsin native, Epstein earned a Master’s of Sport Administration from Ohio University (’22) and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (’18). While at UW, he served two years on the executive board of the Sports Business Club student organization.
Epstein resides in Madison.
